Billing¶
Kabware uses simple per-seat pricing powered by Stripe. This page explains how billing works, how to manage your subscription, and how token usage is tracked.
You can use Standard or Professional for a paid pilot or small rollout. If you want a guided two-week proof of value before subscribing, contact us first so we can scope the pilot with you.

How billing works¶
- Sign up — Choose a Standard or Professional plan, select the number of seats, and complete checkout via Stripe. Enterprise plans and guided pilots are sales-led.
- Monthly billing — You're billed on the same date each month.
- Per-seat — You pay for the seat quantity selected at checkout. You can add more seats later as your team grows.
- Token usage — Each seat includes a monthly token allowance. If you exceed it, overage is billed at your plan's rate.
Token allowances¶
Tokens are the currency of AI conversations. Each message sent and received consumes tokens. Your plan includes a generous per-seat allowance each month.
- Usage alerts — You'll receive email notifications at 75% and 90% of your monthly quota.
- Overage billing — If you exceed your allowance, additional tokens are billed at your plan's overage rate (rounded up to the nearest 1,000 tokens).
- Reset monthly — Token allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle.
Managing your subscription¶
Guided pilots¶
If you want a guided pilot before payment, contact us before signing up. The pilot is scoped around one audience, one repeated-question problem, and a small set of approved documents. If the pilot is successful, you move onto the monthly subscription plan that fits the rollout.
Upgrading¶
You can upgrade your plan at any time from the admin dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be billed the prorated difference.
Downgrading¶
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Your current plan remains active until then.
Cancelling¶
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
No long-term contracts
All plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime before your next billing date.
Invoices and receipts¶
Invoices are generated automatically by Stripe. You can:
- View past invoices in the admin dashboard under Billing.
- Download PDF invoices for your records.
- Update your billing email address.
Payment methods¶
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Payment details are stored securely by Stripe — Kabware never sees your full card number.
